New Years Eve 2008-2009 Sydney - Part I (en/sp)

New Years Eve is just around the corner over here, actually it already 2009. I have seen the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks hundreds of times on TV, and I really never thought that I would be part of that unique show. Well, life has his strange ways... and here I am. Finding a nice place to enjoy the show is quit hard, ‘cause people from all over the world came around. It gets fucking crowded, the streets get blocked, fences get place in almost all beaches so people can get in with alcohol, buses and train stop working for the whole night, and so on.... At the same time almost every corner during this period gets “Alcohol Free”. I’m not a heavy drinker, but... come one... let people have some fun, at least on the 31st of December.

New Years Eve 2008-2009 Sydney - Part I

Año Nuevo está por comenzar, va en realidad ya es 2009. Durante años vi los fuegos artificiales del Sydney Harbour Bridge en la TV, y nunca pensé que estaría acá para vivirlo. La vida tiene sus vueltas… y bue termine acá. Encontrar un lugar que valga la pena para ver el espectáculo, no es tarea fácil, ya que gente de todo el mundo viene para presenciar la función de fuegos artificiales mas copada de Año Nuevo. Las calles se vuelven un rio de gente, se bloquean casi todas las playas, la policía chequea todo el tiempo el tema del alcohol… es increíble, nunca vi algo así. Durante las fiestas muchas zonas de la ciudad se vuelven “Alcohol Free”. A mí esto mucho no me afecta por qué no chupo mucho… pero ½ pila… dejen que la gente se mame x lo menos el 31 de Diciembre.

En un futuro post les voy a contar un poco mejor como fue mi aventura el 31 de Diciembre de 2008 en Sydney, pero mientras quiero compartir con ustedes otra cosa.
